Tour Plan
Departure from Marrakech Your private multilingual driver-guide will pick you up directly from your hotel or riad in Marrakech in a comfortable 4times4 vehicle. Starting at 8:00 AM allows you to enjoy your breakfast at your accommodation before we hit the road.
Coffee & Photo Stop in the Atlas Mountains After driving through the foothills, we take a short break at a scenic spot in the High Atlas Mountains. You can grab a coffee, stretch your legs, and enjoy the clean mountain air.
Crossing Tizi n'Tichka Pass (Elev. 2260m) We reach the highest point of our drive, the famous Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass. Your driver will stop at the best panoramic viewpoints for you to take stunning photos of the dramatic winding roads and traditional Amazigh (Berber) mud-brick villages.
Arrival at Aït Benhaddou Kasbah We arrive at the legendary Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your driver-guide will accompany you across the river to explore this magnificent fortified clay village, showing you where famous Hollywood movies like Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and The Mummy were filmed.
Lunch Break (Independent) Enjoy free time for lunch at a local terrace restaurant overlooking the Kasbah. You can taste an authentic local tagine while enjoying the panoramic desert views.
Short Drive to Ouarzazate & Cinema Studios We drive 30 minutes further to Ouarzazate, the "Hollywood of Africa." We will make a photo stop outside the famous Atlas Film Studios. If you wish to enter or take an optional quick quad-biking experience around the desert tracks, your driver will gladly arrange it on the spot.
Head Back to Marrakech We pack up and begin our smooth return journey back across the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying the shifting colors of the landscape as the afternoon sun begins to set.
Drop-off in Marrakech We arrive back in Marrakech, and your driver will drop you off safely directly at your hotel or riad just in time for your dinner plans.
